How do I add a jersey to my collection?
Tap the "+" button on the Collection tab. You can take a photo with your camera or choose one from your photo library. Fill in the team name, season, year, and other details, then tap Save.
How does the club information feature work?
After saving a jersey, tap on it to open the detail screen. Tap "Show Club Info" to fetch information about that club — including founding year, home stadium, location, and major titles — powered by TheSportsDB.
What is the Discover tab?
The Discover tab lets you explore historical football squads and search for any club or national team in the world. You can view classic lineups displayed on a pitch, complete with player names and numbers.
Is my data stored online?
No. All your jersey data (photos, details, collection) is stored locally on your device. Kit Collector does not require an account and does not upload your personal data to any server.
Why does the app ask for camera and photo library access?
Kit Collector requests camera access so you can photograph your jerseys directly in the app, and photo library access so you can import existing photos of your jerseys. These permissions are only used for adding jersey photos to your collection.
How do I delete a jersey from my collection?
Open the jersey detail screen by tapping on any jersey in your collection. Scroll to the bottom and tap "Delete Jersey". This action cannot be undone.
The club info or lineup is not showing. What should I do?
Club information and lineups require an internet connection. Make sure you are connected to Wi-Fi or mobile data and try again. If the issue persists, the club may not be in the TheSportsDB database yet.
